Workshop class with our valued partners: In his presentation on Hatchery Management, Scott Jordan said, “There are four main things that must be considered to improve the quality of chicks: the temperature of the embryo shell, which is ideally around 100.0 to 100.5 degrees, calculation of percentage moisture loss based on flock age, pre – full assessment by 12 and 24 h tests to determine the hatch window, and the rectal temperature ideally at 39.7 to 40.3 degrees.”
